Christopher J. Hale serves as the executive director of Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good, a nonprofit focused on promoting Catholic social teaching in the public square. He is also the co-founder of Millennial, an online journal and is a frequent contributor to Time magazine, the National Catholic Reporter, USA Today, The Washington Post, CNN and Fox News.
On the last episode of 2015, Christopher joins Eric to provide an update from Washington, talk about the work of Catholics in Alliance, the 2016 presidential race and more.
We also cover the news of the week, from the Republican debate in Las Vegas to the first-ever Christmas parade in Bethlehem (yes, that Bethlehem).
Finally, Eric shares a reflection on this week’s gospel reading from Luke. Mary heads out of town “in haste,” to find a mentor in Elizabeth. In the end, we all need to hear the message of things being possible these days. Eric reminds us of the call to the possibilities as Christmas nears.
All that and more, on this week’s episode. Enjoy!
